If you follow interior design trends you’ll be familiar with the Hampton’s style internal stairs – which is a dark tread with the risers as a lighter colour or painted white. The Hampton’s style is timeless and reflects Australia’s relaxed and coastal living. Bringing this style into your Queensland home will make you feel like you’re on a luxurious beach holiday year-round.

Sometimes we come across jobs that are just a little tougher than we expected them to be. For these harder jobs, we’re always so proud of what we’re able to achieve!

Cork is a wonderful natural product that offers great insulation properties. It is quite soft underfoot and wears incredibly well over time. It has the benefit of not being overly cold in winter and still cool in summer.

We were lucky enough to help local private school, Stuartholme Girls School bring an old verandah back to life. As you know, schools have a lot of high traffic areas, so one of the requirements of this restoration was to ensure functionality.

After moving into a new home, our clients were ready to rejuvenate their floors to their former glory. They gave us a call to work on some of our favourite types of flooring to restore.

A much loved family home in the heart of Kenmore, Brisbane was in need of some TLC for the floors. The home already had a great feel to it and refurbishing the floors has completely helped to maintain a modern and contemporary feel to the home. The owner decided to use a Satin Water base finish which gives a very Modern Look and finish to the beautiful hardwood timber floors.

We had the privilege of working with some stunning hardwood floors in a Kenmore Hills home recently. We re-sanded and then polished with a Gloss Polyurethane Finish.

Sikkens Cetol Hlse – Natural is an oil based coating that has a natural tint to the finish. This finish allows you to see the natural grain of the timber and shows a sheen but not a shine.

We see variations in colour with this finish as the base colour of timber decking used does determine the outcome of the colour to a certain extent. The natural finishes do tend to have a bit more of a yellow tinge to them.
